Pride and Prejudice and all things Jane Austen | Jane Austen

It may not be fashionable anymore, but I just love Jane Austen. It's kind of like curling up in a cozy blanket eating a chocolate chip cookie. I read P&P, or parts of it, pretty much every year. I've also been reading the books that riff on Austen characters and spin off from the stories -- Miss Austen, The Other Bennett Girl (about Mary), Eligible, Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict, and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. I've also read a few more research/analysis books about Austen which are interesting if you're wanting to geek out on Austen. Jane Austen, the Secret Radical was actually really interesting. It got slammed by some and lauded by others. I've read them all, watched all the movies. And, obviously the BBC mini-series version of P&P with Colin Firth is the gold standard.
