Reading is my thing

I'm Susan, and I read a lot. People often ask me what I'm reading and if it's any good. This is challenging in a number of ways. First, it's hard to know what people like. I might think that one book should never have been published, and you might think it's a masterpiece. But there's a more practical reason for this blog. I read a lot (as I said) and I read fast, and I am primarily a public library user, so I don't have piles of books at hand. Bottomline: I can't always remember what I've read. Which makes suggestions hard to come up with. So this list is really for me, to remember what I read and why I thought it was great (or not so great). One of my superpowers is suggesting a new book to someone and having them love it. So here's my cheat sheet -- here's what I've been reading and what I thought about it. Mostly fiction, some not. Mostly new-ish work, some re-reads. Let me know if you agree or disagree! Because what's better than talking about books with other readers?
